From year to year, smartphones have broadened their applications since the first smartphone was created.  Users can nearly use their phones to do everything that used to required a computer. This year, smartphones will become even greater which can analyze everything you see.

The Chinese manufacturer will launch a phone called H2 this year.  They align with ADA semiconductor (ADI) and Consumer Physics to produce the H2 which featuring molecular cell analyzing function.  It can reveal the sweetness of fruit, your body composition, and identify real or fake Viagra pills.

Consumer Physics is a device designer who uses near-infrared spectroscopy to analyze molecules.  Thet had developed the world's first hand-held molecular analyzer, the SCiO, in 2014, which uses light reflection to analyze the material composition. And, surprisingly, they shrink the size of the spectrometer and work with Changhong Electronics, ADN Semiconductor (ADI) to launch this H2.

All known substances in the world are composed of molecules, so theoretically we can identify all the material composition through the molecular analysis instrument.  Thus, with the H2 phone, you can analyze food, beverages, drugs, and even the body composition.

Although the analysis of the molecular composition of these items will not provide the much actual use, the H2 can apply the results with an APP according to your needs. For example, you want to know how many calories does an ice cream contain or what the drug is made of, all you need to do is scan and review the results in the APP.

The function of H2 may sound a bit unbelievable, but the manufacturer expects to launch this phone in 2017, let us wait and see how we can use this phone.
