Air pollution is a serious environmental issue for everyone. It is getting worse and worse as technology and industry is growing rapidly. Now, there is a small wearable air quality sensor that can detect three major air pollutants to give information about the levels of air pollution.
This air quality senor, Flow, is low-cost and already for sale now. It is capable of detect three harmful air pollutants: volatile compounds, airborne particulates, and nitrogen oxides. The device assesses the levels of the pollutants, and it tells you whether they are within the safe levels of air quality on the street.

A mobile app has been created for delivering integrated messages to its users. The users can access to the app to check pollution maps, which shows different areas with different air quality. Users can arrange their health daily routine by the air information, staying at home today or not. The Flow device benefits joggers and cyclists, who are largely endangered by harmful air when exercising on the street.
This device will be updated for being capable of detecting Ozone level in the future. It will intentionally put pressure on government officials to get them serious about air quality. When everyone wears this device, they will know what extent of air pollution at any time. They not only can assess air quality for their health but start to pay more attention to environmental issues.
